ClinAsia Labs practices and follows method to create Define-XML document, which is a standard for providing data descriptions for Case Report Tabulations Data Definitions in XML format.


The Define-XML standard is based on the CDISC Operational Data Model which specifies a standard XML schema for the interchange and archive of clinical trials data and metadata. ClinAsia Labs uses CDISC standards to create domain data sets; it is possible to create an XML document that facilitates the access and review of data pertaining to a clinical trial.

 

The methodology is based on CDISC standards and the SAS System for creating the Define-XML document.
